HAA Welcomes New Music Teacher
/We are delighted to introduce Ms. Eleanor Joyce as our new music teacher at Holland Adventist Academy. Ms. Joyce grew up near Chicago, IL and is currently finishing her degree in Music Education at Andrews University where she served as choir pianist for the University Singers and Wind Symphony Undergraduate Assistant Conductor.
Ms. Joyce began piano lessons at the age of six and has developed her passion for music into a ministry for God. “I really love music because it helps us see the beauty of God even in our everyday life,” Ms. Joyce says. “It’s a really uplifting gift to give to the world today.”
Ms. Joyce just returned from serving six months in Cambodia as a student missionary teaching piano, violin, and children’s choir at the Adventist Community Center’s School of Music. She has worked as a camp Music Activities Director and currently teaches private piano lessons. “I am really passionate about Education, and I know God has called me to this field,” Ms. Joyce says. “I really see the beauty of the gospel in using education to transform students back to the glory of God’s image.”
We are blessed by the valuable addition of Ms. Joyce to our team. Please join us in welcoming her to the HAA family.
